Trials and Tribulations overcome.

Isaiah 43:2: “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you.” For I am the LORD thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour.

Faith sometimes is hard to find in these troublesome times, for it is by faith we as Christians walk. The days are evil and nations are perplexed, fighting against each other for advantage, power and prominence. There are many that would destroy the Christian and all mention of the name Jesus, even in our own country the name Jesus is hated by many.

“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. ”

As we all know a little water is helpful, but when water becomes a flood it will kill and destroy any and all that is in its path. Water has weight and can easily be destructive when not managed, but as the weight of this world’s problems increase, as flood waters, the Lords power increases in each and every one that believe upon Him and His Son. For it is by faith that we can withstand the weight of persecution and problems that this world creates. For we are in the world but not of the world.

Rivers over flow, dams break, and levies collapse under the weight of much water, but as we see the Biblical prophecies unfold heralding the second coming of our Saviour, we are reminded that with every temptation the Lord will make a way for our escape. For He is the one that has given the seas of this world its boundaries and He is the one that keeps them within them. Just as the Lord sets the limits to the reach of the oceans, He also sets limits upon the burdens that affect the believers.

Do you believe that the Lord would allow His children to be drawn down by burdens, persecution, trials, troubles and tribulations to the point that they would be consumed by them, or do you believe that no matter how high the waters rise that He will be there to place you upon dry ground. We must always remember that no matter how far down in the valley of the shadow of death we may go we are still upon a solid rock that cannot be moved.

“When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you.”

The fires today that the believers face are many. We are bombarded each and every time that someone wants to change the morality of decency to a form of unrighteous acts. Morality is not just a Christian virtue but a virtue that many of the lost today still hold in high regard. Many today want to make Christianity illegal stating that believing in the Bible brings about hatred and discrimination. Many have decided that forcing Christians to become more like the world can make a better environment to live in.

We witness young children who believe in God, persecuted even in schools around the country, when they express their views on, prayer, homosexuality, same sex marriage and other Biblical based subjects. Some state legislators have even called on schools to teach subjects which are in direct conflict with the Christian beliefs and that are contrary to actual history, calling it progress, disregarding even the feelings of many unbelievers who call their efforts unmoral and unjust. These same men are trying to indoctrinate children into the practices and the acceptance of false religions. They refuse to allow any mention of the Bible, or Jesus but are more than willing to teach false religions, doctrines and what they call an alternate lifestyle to children as young as 6.

The Bible states that a Christian cannot accept doctrines that are contrary to the teachings of Christ, for by doing so we would be partakers of their sin, 2Jn 1:10-11; “If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.”

The Bible states: “When a man’s ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.” Peace with mankind at any cost is not what the Lord is stating here. He does not desire the believers to accept unrighteousness behavior nor does He expect His children to become partakers or supporters of unrighteousness to make peace with those that are against our faith in Him. For if we are saved from our sins we can no longer live in sin.

We must remember that not all that call themselves Christians are Christ like; many are wolves in sheep’s clothing, and hereticks that bring in false doctrine and teachings that are contrary to sound judgment and are in conflict with the Testament that was delivered unto Gods Children, what God has called to be an abomination is still and abomination.

Christians today face a greater challenge than any other in history, we either hold on to our faith in God, Christ and His word, or we cave into political correctness and abandon our faith. Even the Lord tells us that He would, in the end days, shorten the time so that the very elect would not be deceived. “And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.”

Satan knows that his time is short; he will use anyone that will follow him to put pressure on the Christian community to try to cause a division within the family of the Most High. Satan has his own ministers and churches that have deceived many into believing that all men shall enter into the Kingdom of Heaven no matter how they live. We are not fighting against flesh and blood, but we fight against the evil spirits that have consumed and control many multitudes of men. That is the reason that we must pray for our enemies and those that despitefully use us, for it is not the man but the evil spirit that opposes us.

The Law of Christ.

•January 16, 2012 • Leave a Comment

Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. (1Co 13:7)

To bear, believe, hope, and to endure is the law of Christ concerning those who follow after truth and righteousness. Christians are, in a way, an island unto themselves, not being without an opportunity for others to have accessibility to us, but we have come out from among the world and have become a separated people, being separated from this world by the spirit of God and His Christ that dwells within us.

We Beareth all things. To bear; to suffer without resentment, to have patience or to carry. We have come to understand that we are to bear the infirmities of the weak, for not all men have the same level of faith. For as it is written, show me your works without faith and Ill shall show you my works by faith. Christians around the world today bear many afflictions, hatred, violence against themselves and their belief in Christ, persecution and discrimination. Many laws have been and will continue to be written to subvert the Gospel and those that will carry it to the lost. We suffer because the unrighteous fear the Gospel.

Christians have and will continue to suffer for the sake of the Gospel and are blessed for our efforts. As the spirit of anti-Christ continues its attack on the followers of Christ, our persecution will continue to grow until the burdens of them will cause God to shorten the days so that the very elect will not be deceived. The Lord will not allow burdens so great to be placed upon us so that we would fall, but with every temptation He will also make away for our escape, for our God is the God of patience, this is His promise to us and He will keep it.

With patience possess we our souls, for it is by patience we strive in the Gospel without fear and without doubt, for we know that whatever we do according to the Law of Christ we shall be, blessed, redeemed and delivered out of any bondage, strife or tribulation. For we suffer without resentment, verbal abuse, hatred, persecution and all infirmities, for we are who we are by the will of God.

We believeth all things. To believe; to have a firm persuasion of anything. To expect or hope with confidence; to trust. Christians believe in Christ and His word, without seeing, for blessed are those that have seen and believe but more blessed are those that have not seen and still believe. As the world must see anything to believe, we who believe in Christ need no visible sign from Heaven that Christ is the Son of God, we need no visible sign that Christ walked on water, turned water into wine, healed the sick, made the blind to see, the dumb to speak, nor the deaf to hear.

We need no proof that Christ raised Lazarus from the dead, nor Himself being raised from the dead having victory over hell, death and the grave. We have been introduced to a more sure word of prophecy, knowing that whatever the Lords word states will come to pass. Even with the prophetic word of God, we know that trying to understand prophecy tells us that it is more often a combination of events that prophecy is fulfilled, but by faith and belief we know that all will be fulfilled.

Hopeth all things; Hope, Webster states hope as; A desire of some good, accompanied with at least a slight expectation of obtaining it, or a belief that it is obtainable. Confidence in a future event; the highest degree of well-founded expectation of good; as a hope founded on God’s gracious promises; a scriptural sense.

A well founded scriptural hope is, in our religion, the source of ineffable happiness.

A highest degree of well-founded expectation of good comes from again our faith and belief in God, His Son and His word. Our hope and faith come from this well founded expectation of good coming from God, in reading and studying Gods word to show ourselves approved. To have hope and faith in God we must read and understand His word. Our understanding comes from the direction of the Holy Spirit of God who leads us and guides us into all truths.

This is the reason that the unrighteous and mockers cannot understand our faith and hope in things that they cannot see. They cannot understand the word of God because it is spiritually discerned and without the leadership and teaching from the Holy Spirit no man can understand it. We ask the Lord for wisdom and understanding in His word and He will in like give us our desires.

Our hope lies not with man, for who is man that The Lord should take notice of Him or who among men shall council the Lord. Our hope lies not with the things that we can see, for the things that we see are not based upon hope.

Endureth all things.

Endure; to last; to continue in the same state without perishing; to remain; to abide. To bear; to sustain; to support without breaking or yielding to force or pressure.

The word of God tells us that our worst enemies shall be those of our own household, our family, mom, dad, children and this is so in these end days. There are many prophecies that describe the lengths that many of our family members will go to stop the propagation of the gospel and our faith in God. Many other prophecies tell us that mockers shall wax worse and worse in the days leading up to the second coming of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. We are told that we will be hated, persecuted and delivered up to the courts to stop our faith in Christ.

All of these things are happening today, we see many court cases being brought forth against pastors, preachers and even lay members of the church. Christianity is under attack even from our own government. While false religions are given a free ride, political correctness has taken hold of our politicians and preaching the gospel has been vilified. We must remember that those that are saved are saved indeed, And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

In the World.

“Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.”( Psa.143:10)

Will; Disposition; inclination; desire. Divine determination; moral purpose or counsel.

What is the will of God concerning man, we are to come out from among the world and be a separated people, that all men should come into repentance and not perish and to believe in the Son. We are in the world but not of the world, we see the things that the world sees, we hear what the world hears, we feel what the world feels, but are transformed into the kingdom of Gods dear Son. We are hated because we do not run after the world doing those things that the unbelievers desire to do; we do not riot as the world riots in excess of want.

1st.Peter 4:3-4 states; “For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries: Wherein they think it strange that ye run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you:” Many mock the followers of Christ because we do not indulge in their unrighteous behavior. We are hated and despised because we will not bow down to their gods of flesh, stone and gold. We have been taught the truth, our eyes have been opened, and we hear the Lord.

We are political at times but we do not hold our politics above the moral purpose that God has established, we do not hold men’s admiration above what’s right and wrong, nor above our God and Saviour. We do not accept being politically correct but follow after truth, for being politically correct means to abandon the commandments, judgments and morals that our Lord has taught us. For it is the counsel of the Lord that we hold dear. We seek out Gods will above all else, we seek out His divine determination in our lives and for our lives, for we have no fear of men but only of God.

Morality today has given way to peace and equality at any cost, even to the abandonment of virtue and truth, men not wanting to save their soul, men not wanting to acknowledge the existence of God. Men make laws and then break them, God makes laws and fulfills them, men try to change time, while God created it, men deny the existence of God and God created men, men try to conquer space and God shall destroy it.

Every man is a liar, God on the other hand cannot lie for it is against His very nature. Men seek out the pleasures of the flesh and we seek out the pleasures of righteousness, for we cannot please God in the flesh but only in the spirit, for God is spirit.

As each man accepts Jesus as Lord and Christ, he comes out from among the world, he seeks not power, riches, fame, nor does he seek to please mankind. We worry not about tomorrow and seek not evil, we hold Gods word as being the light of our lives and the light of the world. We walk a different path, dance a different dance, and march to a different drummer.

God has established His covenant with man whereas according to Webster’s definition is the covenant of grace, is that by which God engages to bestow salvation on man, upon the condition that man shall believe in Christ and yield obedience to the terms of the gospel. These terms are set down in the Gospel, anything that is not of faith is sin, unrighteousness is against righteousness, Jesus is the way, the truth and the life, what God has declared to be an abomination will not change, and our hope is in the resurrection of Christ. For if Christ raised not then we are of all men most miserable. But Christ did raise and we shall also rise with Him, being perfected by His glory and clothed by the righteousness of God.

Many who do not know the Lord nor His word mock all who will believe. We are hated but Christ was hated first. Many do not understand the difference between the law and grace, many do not understand the convenient between Israel and the New Testament convenient between God and all mankind, for there is a difference. For after Christ there is no more excuse, no more sacrifice for sin. We are in the world but not of the world.

Do you believe?

•January 4, 2012 • Leave a Comment

“For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.”

Believe; in theology, to believe sometimes expresses a mere assent of the understanding to the truths of the gospel; as in the case of Simon. Acts 8. In others, the word implies, with this assent of the mind, a yielding of the will and affections, accompanied with a humble reliance on Christ for salvation. John 1:12. 3.15.

We, who believe in Jesus being the Son of God, believe not in the physical, we have not seen, heard, nor felt Him, but we believe in Him still the same. Many things we believe in we do not see, we cannot feel nor hear. We believe that when we hit the brakes on our car that they will work, we believe that when we see the sun that there will be heat, when we see the snow we believe that it will be cold, when we get on an air craft we believe that it will fly, so why is it so hard for mankind to believe in God or His Son Jesus.

Our faith should not be for tomorrow, for tomorrow may never come, our faith should be based on today. For Christ told Mary, “Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God?” If thou wouldest believe, if we could only believe that Gods word is true, we could accomplish many things. Even Christ told us that we could do greater things than He did, but because of lack of faith and belief many are strangled in debt, naked, hungry and sick.

The toll of this world’s problems deters many from using their faith. Their belief is hanging on by a thread. The message of the seeds has come full circle on many today. “He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.” The word unfruitful simply means that their faith and works have become null and void; their testimony has become so weak that no one will listen. Many have said in the past that if a Christian is always crying I don’t want to be one.

They are being led astray from the truth, many have accepted false doctrine without seeking the answers from Gods word and without reading and studying the word we are left without a firm foundation for our belief. Our belief should make us content with whatever our state, whether we are rich or poor, our belief should make us happy and our belief should enable us to accomplish much in this world.

Satan has no hold on those that believe, no hold on those with true faith in Christ, for he has no power over a believer except when one is weak in their faith and allows Satan a foot hold on their belief. Jesus stated many times, “O ye of little faith.” Why don’t we believe, why do you doubt, why do we oft times feel sorry for ourselves and knowing that in times of peril all we have to do is call upon the Lord. We must understand that the Lord will answer our prayers in three ways, Yes, No or wait. Add to your faith, patience and wait upon the Lord for He is from everlasting to everlasting, He is in no hurry.

Is Gambling a Sin?

•January 3, 2012 • Leave a Comment

There is a split among many Christians and Churches on the advantages and disadvantages of gambling and what sin, if any, it creates. Many churches and Christians have been taught that Christians should all be rich just because we are followers of Christ, this notion is misleading and false. There is nowhere in the Bible that God tells us that if we follow Him or His Son that we will be made rich. Didn’t Jesus tell many rich men to sell what they have, give to the poor and follow Him?

Gambling, in my opinion, is a spirit of lust, lusting after money which in turn causes the love of it, which is described in scripture as the root of all evil. Playing the lottery, bingo for money, black jack, betting on horses or any other form of gambling, in many Christian lives is no different. If you believe one is not a sin, then all manner of gambling is not a sin.

Many will take the money that the Lord provides them for their daily needs, not being satisfied with it, gamble with it in hopes of obtaining more, but when they win, that again is still not enough, they take what they win, and desiring more, they gamble with it also. When is enough, enough. Will the body ever be satisfied with what it has? The bible tells us no. “Hell and destruction are never full; so the eyes of man are never satisfied.”

The Bible gives us many examples of the lust of the eyes and the pride of life, where men are never satisfied, with silver or gold, for what they obtain they consume, and the more they consume the more riches they desire to try to satisfy their need, to be more than what they were intended to be. For who is man that the Lord should take account of Him? Rich or poor we are all considered the same with God, for He has no respect of persons.

Being followers of Christ we must be content in whatever state we are in, being dependent upon the Lord for our daily needs. This is where our faith comes into play. Our faith is based upon our belief in Gods words and our belief is tied to our faith in God and His Son. For as I have said before, I am who I am by the grace of God, with food and raiment therewith be content. “Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.”

Content; Rest or quietness of the mind in the present condition; satisfaction which holds the mind in peace, restraining complaint, opposition, or further desire, and often implying a moderate degree of happiness. The further away from the assentation of Christ the church gets the less content the church becomes.

This same thing happened unto the children of Israel, in their journey their cloths never wore out and their feet never swelled, they were fed and cared for, but became discontent with these things and began to complain, and todays Christians are forgetting these lessons. We must learn to be content in the state we are in, we must learn again that the Lord knows what we are in need of even before we ask. The unbelievers need food and clothing, which God understands, and as He feeds the birds of the air, the beast of the field, do we not believe that as He feeds and cares for them that He will ignore His Children?

Will there be poor Christians? Yes. “For ye have the poor always with you; but me ye have not always.” Who makes a Christian or anyone else poor? “The LORD maketh poor, and maketh rich: he bringeth low, and lifteth up.”

The standard of life is based upon what a man declares to be satisfying, a poor man who works hard and believes in the Lord sleeps sweet but a rich man has trouble with his sleep, concerned with his wealth being taken away from him. So then is gambling a sin? It all depends upon who you ask, as for me, I am content with what the Lord gives to me, but for others it may be a matter of pride in what others possess.

If you are convicted in your heart that gambling is a sin then it is sin. Others must seek out the wisdom and guidance of the Lord. Ask yourself, is my gambling interfering with my ability to serve God or bring others to Christ? This then will be your answer, remember anything that you put before God will be your god. Ars.

The indoctrination of our Children in evil.

•December 29, 2011 • Leave a Comment

The Great falling Away.

As the state of California is ready to indoctrinate school children into the acceptance of the homosexual lifestyle we wonder where this is all going.

There are many controversial subjects in the Bible, some hard to understand, the Apostle Paul was one whose writings fall within this category, but without teaching or preaching about them how then would the lost become aware of what sin is and how to be forgiven of it? Some of these subjects include but are not limited to homosexuality, atheism, false gods and the doctrines of devils.

“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.” The world today seeks acceptance of unnatural lifestyles, there are those that have attempted to make bestiality, along with homosexuality an accepted lifestyle within and without the church.

They say that love has no boundaries and that the Lord made them the way they are. We read a little know passage within the Bible concerning evil and sin, one that is very seldom heard; “I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.” The evil spoken of here refers not to the evil of sin, for the Lord cannot sin, but rather the evil of punishment for transgressions against His laws and will.

For when the world refused to repent during the time of Noah, God sent a great flood, when Sodom and Gomorrah refused to repent God destroyed them with fire and brimstone and in the end mankind shall fight against the Lord and this world shall once again be destroy, this earth and them with fire and brimstone. Webster states that, Natural evil is anything which produces pain, distress, loss or calamity, or which in any way disturbs the peace, impairs the happiness, or destroys the perfection of natural beings.

The abominable, and disobedient seek acceptance into the foundation of the church, the leadership, and the ministry of the Gospel. These people need to be in church but not in the ministry, for by being able to hear the truth they may be saved, but allowing Satan to teach is inviting destruction of the entire body. For again as the Lord states, it is better to go into Heaven lame that to be whole and descend into Hell.

In other words if unruly men, who bring in damnable heresies into the church, refuse to believe the truth and repent it is better to remove their influence from the congregation, than to allow them to spread a cancer within the body. “They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.”

“Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.”

The Bible tells us many times in many places that there will be a great falling away from the truth of God and men shall cleave to their unnatural lust. They shall make gods and lords unto themselves, by themselves and of themselves, thinking that they are something when they are nothing.

Just as in California, men who have no fear of God, make laws and try to change times to suite their own agendas. They have made gods of themselves to justify their unnatural lust. They change and make laws to serve the spirit of anti-Christ causing men to hate the truth. These men who know not the Lord cast their hatred toward those who believe, they hiss and gnash their teeth against anyone who brings their sins into the light, and these are the words of God concerning them.

Laws are made for the lawful and not the lawless, for even the locks we use are for the honest among us. If a man lives by the law and breaks one part of the law he is guilty of all the law and must repent. For there is no difference to God when it comes to sin, a thief is just as guilty as a murderer. For who is man that the Lord should take account of him, or who shall council the Lord, who shall say to the creator that they were created sinful and must be accepted by Him who knows no sin?

“The Lord looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God. They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one.”

Men shall be lovers of themselves, seeking out the lust of the flesh and the pride of life, never once seeking out the truth or the Living God that allows men to make their own choices, for there is none good and none shall seek after the Lord God.

Atheism is a religion.

•December 20, 2011 • Leave a Comment

To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. “The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.”

A religion is, a system of doctrines or principles, being based upon the idea that certain truths are conceived by the notion that whatever we believe is true. Atheists believe that there is no God, no Satan and no punishment except death for transgressions against society. They do not believe that a man shall be judges nor punished for his unruly lifestyle after death and that death is the total end of that man. Atrocities against mankind such as genocide against a minority people shall not be punished after the man dies.

The doctrine of Atheism; In a general sense, whatever is taught. Hence, a principle or position in any science; whatever is laid down as true by an instructor or master. The doctrines of the gospel are the principles or truths taught by Christ and his apostles. The doctrines of Plato are the principles which he taught. Hence a doctrine may be true or false; it may be a mere tenet or opinion.

The Atheist teaches that God does not exist therefore right and wrong are traits that were conceived by men, and law was developed by mankind to reign in the unruly among us. They are under the opinion that if Christ, God or the mention of any religion is taught openly that these actions will pervert their children into believing differently from what they were expected to believe and that it somehow affects their rights.

They continue to mention the separation of church and state to back up their religion, but what they fail to realize is that this nation has already established a national religion, and will continue to support the notion and fact that we are a Christian nation, this not accepted by all politicians though, examples which include but are not limited to; In God we Trust, on our currency, One Nation under God, in our pledge of allegiance, The National Christmas Tree, The Ten Commandments on the Supreme Court doors, the National holidays of Christmas and Easter, Crosses mark the graves at Arlington National cemetery, the Argonne Cross and so on.

The principles of Atheism; Tenet; that which is believed, whether truth or not, but which serves as a rule of action or the basis of a system. The principle of atheism has caused a rule of action by many to hate the Christian and Jew, so they have been fighting the doctrines of Jesus and His followers. They deny that God exist and therefore deny that Jesus is the Son of God. They believe that if they force Christianity out of the consciousness of the populace they will cause all men to reject the idea of a God that will judge men on their works after death.

If there is no God what are the atheist afraid of, are they afraid that the symbol of the cross will keep them from obtaining a job; the song Oh Holy Night will give their children nightmares, that the mention of God and His Christ will somehow change the way they want to live? In their attempt to eliminate Christianity and the true religion they have within themselves established their own man made religion of denial and rejection. Sense they do not believe in God or Satan, the image of good by God and evil by Satan, good and evil do not exist and if good and evil do not exist then what they attempt to do has no good in it. In their belief they then are fighting against something that does not exist, therefore they are beating against the air without cause.

The Servants of God.

•December 18, 2011 • Leave a Comment

“Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, my servants shall eat, but ye shall be hungry: behold, my servants shall drink, but ye shall be thirsty: behold, my servants shall rejoice, but ye shall be ashamed: Behold, my servants shall sing for joy of heart, but ye shall cry for sorrow of heart, and shall howl for vexation of spirit.”

The servants of God trust in Him believe in Him and depend upon Him. They put their trust, their families and their lives into His hands. We see because He has taken away our blindness, we hear for He has restored our perception and we feel for He has established His word within our hearts.

Many today have hardened their hearts to the Lords call, even within the Church there are many that see only partial scriptures and have ignored the rest. If we believe in God’s word we must believe in all of it. There are levels of faith as the Bible describes them, from low faith to high even faith that has become shipwrecked.

In these end days there are many people fulfilling Biblical prophecy, mockers are rampant, many have fallen away from the truth and others are filled with the spirit of anti-Christ, the middle east is in turmoil, many calling for democracy where there will never be and others are calling for the union of Christianity with other religions, this causing division.

“my servants shall eat.” This is Gods promise, for those that serve the true and living God shall not go hungry, for Jesus stated that we would be filled, we who hunger and thirst after righteousness.

“but ye shall be hungry, ye shall be thirsty.”

Multitudes shall be hungry for they have refused righteousness and salvation. They have eaten, drank and consumed upon their own lust in this life, they have gone after strange flesh, and strange gods, despising the poor and hating those that worship the Lord, they shall be raised as they fall, for their hunger shall never be satisfied, their thirst shall never be quenched and their soul shall be left to them desolate. Famines shall not be abolished in this world because of the unrighteousness that consumes the people; it is Biblical prophecy coming to pass.

That which is flesh is flesh, today we may hunger for food, but we are never forgotten, for the Lord shall provide our daily bread, we may suffer loss by we are never cast down, we may be destitute by we shall be clothed and will never be destroyed, for the Lord has promised and He is able to deliver, for I have never seen the righteous forsaken nor the Children of God on the streets begging for bread.

The Lord never promised us a home in this life, for He stated with food and raiment therewith be content, by being content we are saying to the Lord that we trust in Him, believe and are satisfied with those things that He has delivered to us. He has promised us the desires of our heart but we must first be content with whatever state we are in.

We must separate ourselves from the worlds thinking of what success is, for the Lord does not measure success by what we have obtained, but by whom we have believed. We must separate ourselves from the worlds thinking of what right and wrong is, for being politically correct in the world’s eyes means compromising the truth to be accepted by all. We must separate ourselves from the worlds thinking of what religion is for even the Bible states that there are gods many and lords many but only one true God, for even the atheist have their own religion which is based upon their faith that God does not exist, for religion is a faith based proposition.

“For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many,) But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.”

We are in God by Jesus Christ, we are saved by grace through faith in Jesus, whom we have not seen, not heard but still believe. Let us who believe rejoice even in the times of trials, troubles and even in tribulations, for we have a redeemer who will deliver us out of the darkness, preserve our lives in dire circumstances and feed us in the days of famine.

Has not the Lord answered when we have called upon Him, has He not sent His Holy Spirit to us when we are plagued with illness, fed us in times of hunger, protected us in times of trouble, clothed us when we were naked, taught us when we were ignorant of His word, and has He not given us a path to escape temptations?

While they promise them liberty.

•December 14, 2011 • Leave a Comment

Liberty; Freedom from restraint, in a general sense, and applicable to the body, or to the will or mind. The body is at liberty, when not confined; the will or mind is at liberty, when not checked or controlled.

There are people and organizations that claim to provide liberty from religion especially from the power of Christianity, for even the mention of Christ, the Bible, prayer, or even the showing of the cross is offensive to them, they all say it’s not politically correct and is an infringement into their civil liberties.

“While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.”

Men are serving a god whether it is the one true God or a man made one that can neither see, hear, speak nor answer prayer, every man has a religion, even atheist have their own religion, a religion based upon denial, which will and has consumed their soul. Men who call for the elimination of Christianity are in bondage to a power that cannot be seen, Satan is their consumer, they have become in league with corruption and are deceived by this word they call liberty.

A man is overcome when he believes that he is more than what he appears to be, being lured by his lust of the flesh, the pride of his eyes and the pride of life. For a man is in bondage to that thing that consumes him, whether it be the belief that god does not exist or weather he believes that men are better off if Christianity is removed from the conscience of all men, this is their religion, and they are the servants of corruption.

Religion is; any system of faith and or worship. (Atheism is a religion because they use faith that God does not exist. For faith is the basses of any religion.)

In this sense, religion comprehends the belief and worship of pagans and Mohammedans, as well as of Christians; any religion consisting in the belief of a superior power or powers governing the world, and in the worship of such power or powers. (This power can also be used in the sense of man’s own governing power.) We speak of false religion, as well as of true religion.

For God considers all men the same, whether they be poor, rich, young, old, powerful or weak. For as it is written, “Who is man that the Lord should consider him.” Without God, man would have no liberty even to denounce Him or to being persistent that He doesn’t even exists, for Satan offers no liberty, no freedom, no peace from persecution. Satan is a liar and was a liar from the beginning; he has no pity, no remorse and no love for mankind.

While men sue at law to claim their liberty to be free from Christianity and or religion, they try to remove the liberty of those that worship the Father. In today’s world we see the effort to criminalize Christianity, while false religions suffer no ill will against them from these same people. They fear these false religions and fear not the Living God. They seek to make a name for themselves built up with pride and self-accomplishments. They pass laws which they have no intention of obeying, make rules that they break and condemn all who oppose their will.

This is reminiscent of the charges brought against the Sadducees, Pharisees and lawyers by Jesus. “For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men’s shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers.” “And he said, Woe unto you also, ye lawyers! for ye lade men with burdens grievous to be borne, and ye yourselves touch not the burdens with one of your fingers.”

Each and every man has, or will, know of God and His Christ. Each individual will have an opportunity to choose whom they will worship and serve, each will have an opportunity to choose salvation over condemnation, each will be afforded the ability to choose his path whether it be the one of righteousness or unrighteousness. For in the end of a man’s life, as he falls so shall he be raised into judgment.

“For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.”

Sickness and Salvation.

•December 8, 2011 • Leave a Comment

Salvation comes to many with compassionate words of love and the sincerity of words but with others it may take fear, fear of Hell fire and eternal separation from God. We see in scripture that we are to use both to convert the lost, not hating them but loving them enough to use whatever means necessary to show them that without Jesus there is no salvation from the world to come. “And of some have compassion, making a difference: And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.”

We also see that we as believers in Christ must become all things to all men that by some means we might save some, simply meaning that not all men shall be saved, for many shall harden their hearts to the truth and will choose the darkness of Satan over the light of Christ and God. We must remember that we are not fighting against the flesh of men but against the spirits that have corrupted men, the spirits of unrighteousness and the spirit of anti-Christ. It’s these evil spirits that control men, their words and actions. That is why when a child of God mentions salvation through Christ many will attack them and try to degrade the message of truth, it’s not the man but the spirit that controls them.

Sickness comes to all men; for we are all still in this body of flesh but sometimes sickness comes to some for their enlightenment into God’s grace and mercy. God will allow sickness at times to convert or save the lost, we see this also in scripture. “To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.” This destruction of the flesh can take many paths, sickness, imprisonment and even mutilation of the body.

Considering our eternal future it is better to destroy this flesh that the soul might be saved. Simply meaning, that this body began dying the moment we were conceived but our soul (spirit which was given to us by God) will never die. For our lives on this earth are set at approximately 70 years, some more and some less, this is also proven in scripture. “The days of our years are threescore years and ten (70 years.); and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years (80 years.), yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.” Meaning that even if we live 80 years or so, all of our labour and sorrow will still be met by our death, this is one fact that is inescapable.

Knowing that we all, saved or lost, will die should give us our motivation to live as Christ desired us to live. Every man shall know of God and His Christ, for there will be no excuse when judgment comes to all men, every man would have had an opportunity to accept or reject Christ as their Saviour.

Sickness brings about the weakness of the body, which brings about the dependence upon others to care for the individual. This also happens when we age, for even if sickness doesn’t strike us, we will all soon be dependent upon others as we will all age.

God will allow sickness to introduce His Son to many that beforehand would not listen, to open eyes and ears that were once closed and blind to the truth, for we must remember God is a loving God and His will is that no man should perish.

“To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.” Sickness comes to the children of God along with the lost, in God’s children it causes the faith to increase, and it manifests God’s grace and mercy. The blindness of man brings about sickness that could otherwise be avoided. Many times sickness will come through unrighteous lifestyles, lifestyles that God declares to be an abomination.

For a man’s eyes to be open to the truth, a man must be willing to see and accept the truth. Satan has no power over man unless a man allows him to have it. Satan was defeated by Christ and the only power Satan has is deception and lies.

When we become sick we must still praise the Lord for we, as believers have Him to turn to and the Holy Spirit to aid us in all of our infirmities, this is the promise of Jesus.
